Great lens for still lenses
Bought to photograph a friend's wedding. The motor focuses quickly and quietly. Depth of field was surprisingly much better than I expected. The widest aperture allowed for beautiful portraits with a blurred background. Overall, the photos have turned heads with the bride and groom, and the lens is their keeper - now a popular staple with a great telephoto range, but for portraits it comes alongside my 50mm 1.4f lens.
