I bought this for my kid's room which is smaller than mine and I need to change it. I was able to run this thing at high speed on one fill for 3 nights in a row. it's how much water it holds and how effective it is. It doesn't have a filter, which is great. I hate buying filters for these things. It's easy to clean and set up. Easy to take apart. Didn't notice anything strange about it. doesn't take up much space on the dresser. The first night we used it, we turned it on to the max and closed the door to the room. When they got up in the middle of the night and opened the door, there was a very thick fog in the room and the smoke alarm went off. It's just fine. So I'd probably suggest using it on low unless it's a large room and it's not going to be used all night. I would recommend if you are looking for really good quality.
