I have a WD SA500 M.2 SSD that needs to be installed in the 2.5" drive slot as I don't have an M.2 PCIe/NVMe slot. without drivers, works with Win10 and MacOS. This kit features 1 M.2 slot and metal rails as a perfect replacement for a slim (7mm high) 2.5" SATA drive. Can also be installed in place of a 3.5" drive. "SATA if you add the 2.5-3.5 metal bracket kit. Remember this is M.2 SATA, it is not compatible with M.2 PCIe/NVMe.
