I bought this on a whim as it's the first notebook I've called 'marker paper' and I wanted to see how it did. I mainly used Canson Mixed Stock which is good for other reasons but I hate the see through effect with Copic/other alcohol based markers. So: Here's what I found out: no penetration (!). Smooth tactile sensations. Less ink is used. Can actually MIX colors because they don't dry instantly. I won't be using it for all my marker drawings, but I'm very happy to have had a truly new experience with paper. I still don't feel good enough to use this paper! Ha. I was still allowed to buy :)
