Almost no difference from 2018 Silverado

Fairly easy installation but extremely disappointing performance. The tailgate lowers at the same speed to about 3/4 of the way, then the shock absorber engages and brakes the tailgate. Absolutely NO useful help when raising the tailgate. save your money Just not an effective product.
