Review on Triangle Group TR918 225/45 R18 95V summer by Adam Orlowski ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good value for money, I recommend.

I am writing this review after 3 seasons of using this model. Tire size 215/50/r16 shod on Mazda 6 1.8. the tire is really very good for those who use it exclusively for quiet driving. for 3 seasons I have never regretted that I bought it, but as always there are pitfalls, miracles do not happen and when buying a tire 3-4 times cheaper than European analogues, you need to understand this. at the end of the third season, the tire dramatically changed in terms of its physical and technical characteristics. 1) it began to hold the road terribly at a temperature of 5-10C, with a sharp start it immediately blows into axle boxes, this was not the case before. the protector is almost not worn out. apparently affects the composition of the rubber mixture and the influence of time on it. Also very poor grip on wet pavement is not critical but noticeable. again, in the first seasons, the hitch was very good. The braking distance felt increased by 1.5 times. As a result, to what conclusions do we come, the feeling of confidence behind the wheel disappears, you start to play it safe, and this 95% of the time the car is operated in the city at low speeds. Again, if you are ready to change tires once every 3 years, then this is a super option. Before that, I had tires of European brands and Japan, the set was always enough for 5 years without changing the properties,

Pros
  • price, wear resistance, no noise,
Cons
  • short operating properties in the time interval
