I used this product to bleed the brakes on a test aircraft. After trying several different procedures I hit a dead end and decided to go beyond the standard and try something different and new. My first attempt did not bring the desired results. Simply connecting a hose to the master cylinder and pressurizing it to 15# didn't produce the results I've seen in various Power Bleeder videos. I contacted the company and was instructed to modify the process to include pressurization (per the instructions that came with the unit) and additional brake bleeding to force the brake fluid through the lines, thus cleaning all the air. This procedure worked and within minutes my brake lines were completely bled! Some observers were convinced that this was a miracle, since in some situations people spent countless hours (and sometimes even days) trying to achieve what I did in minutes. You would think you would get the same if not better results with a car. There is only one major downside that all buyers should be aware of. On the second try, the hose that came with the unit burst, causing brake fluid to squirt all over the work area, around and on me! The rupture occurred at approximately 17#s, which is within the expected capacity of the tubing. I contacted the seller to report an issue with the hose and he stated that it must have been an isolated issue as he had not received similar reports in the past. at home that comes with the unit to a more durable hose that can be easily purchased at any local hardware store and/or cover any painted surfaces in the area when using the Power Bleeder.
