They did exactly what I was hoping for - blocking the sunrays. My wife and I drive from So Cal to San Francisco quite often and certain times of the day the sunrays beat down on and heat up the car - only on one side. On the way north, the driver's side get's sun and the way back the passenger side. Now we don't have to crank up the AC and freeze out the side without the sun. Problem solved.
