Review on Airfree T800 Filterless Air Purifier: Compact and Efficient Purification in Sleek White Design by Brenda Thompson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Minus 5. Dangerous placement of power cord. Cable is twisted now, won't last long

For a retired firefighter, this cable is dangerous. UL will not approve this in the US. On a hard floor it does not level due to a wire sticking out from below, 1 leg in the air. It flattens out on the carpet. On a tiled floor I placed all 3 feet on the floor and inserted the wire into the grout line. It turns off when tipped over and turns on when leveling. The 400 F temperature is slightly lower than the temperature required to ignite 450 F paper. The outside of the device is cool enough to the touch at the hottest point. 102F. My house has 14 rooms. 9 rooms have doors, 5 have no doors. I will use it in several rooms. Better get a t800, 2 or 3 for $100 each than a $300 model that filters 3x the area. I could use 3 T 800 in 3 different rooms. Most of my rooms are smaller than 180 square meters. ft. A good product. Still works even if it is not aligned. I was going to buy 2 more but due to the poor placement of the power cord below this item will soon break. To update. I used two pieces of wood 1X2. The device has 4 legs. I put a 1 inch piece of wood under the 2 legs and another piece of wood under the other 2 legs to stop the wire from kinking. The manufacturer can make the legs 1 inch longer or install the wire on the side or use the connector at a 90 degree angle to avoid twisting the connector.
