Originally, I ordered my daughter's expected size according to the size chart. She is very slender through the hips and legs, so I was surprised that they were too small. I sent them back and exchanged for the next size up, and they fit well. I will warn that the fabric is not durable, as it easily gets pricked and pulled. They don't stay looking good for long. This is the second time I've purchased these, because we like the comfort and the dark denim with a faux cuff at the bottom. I only wish the fabric was more durable and stayed looking new longer. Next time, I will be searching more diligently for something more lasting.
