Girls' Capri Leggings By The Children'S Place Review

Our daughter does not like jeans, so leggings are a staple at our house. I typically run to Target and grab all the black leggings I can find, but someone beat me there this year. We used to buy Children's Place leggings when she was younger, but haven't shopped there in awhile. Found these and decided to give it a try! Thankful they came in, just in time for school to start next week. The fit is as expected. Not quite as thick as Cat & Jack, but with a long shirt, should be fine. Plan to order

The description on these leggings says capri, but they are ankle length on my nine year old daughter. I bought the large size, which fits her, but is still a little tight. She is an average sized girl, not at all overweight.

My daughter lives in leggings. These seem comfortable and are midrise which is what I was looking for. Many girls’ leggings now days are too low. These fit well on her waist without being too snug on the rear and thighs like the Old Navy brand.

Believe it or not sometimes these can be hard to find, especially around the holidays. No too much to report here on basic black leggings other than they fit just fine and worked for the school program.

Originally, I ordered my daughter's expected size according to the size chart. She is very slender through the hips and legs, so I was surprised that they were too small. I sent them back and exchanged for the next size up, and they fit well. I will warn that the fabric is not durable, as it easily gets pricked and pulled. They don't stay looking good for long. These are labeled girls Capri leggings. These are regular normal length leggings. There is nothing Capri about them. My daughter is 10 and normal height. Ordered her the large and These "capris" come down to her ankles.

These looked super cute the first wear and fit great, the fabric was nice but then I washed it and it shrunk so bad lol. They’re nice if you want to wear them one time lol. I got the 12 and they probably shrunk down to like a size 8 haha

I'm giving these only 3 stars, because it's not what I thought I was ordering. I searched capris and these came up. They look capri in the photos and some people even got one capri one full length in their order. Apparently cropped doesn't mean as short as capri. It means ankle length.The quality seems nice.

I thought they would be ankle length but they are very short and a lot smaller then a regular large. My daughter still likes them so we'll keep them but I will probably have to replace them soon. Definitely won't order the same ones. I do like the material and of course the fast shipping.

My daughter says these are comfortable but honestly she can’t wear them without a dress or long shirt on because they are to sheer. They work for little girls who like to wear dresses or skirts to school but are really active at recess. I would rate them a 4 out 10. Fit is true to size.

I found these leggings after searching for "girls capris". I was disappointed to receive them and find that they were barely above the ankle. They didn't even fit my daughter like cropped leggings -- too long for that, let alone capris. I returned them and am still searching for actual capris for her to wear under dresses and skirts, rather than long leggings.

Strong and comfy. Just what my daughter needs to wear under dresses, skirts and tunics. She wears them often and the knees have held up.

Ordered these for my daughter to wear under dresses and such. She is a size 10/12 so I ordered the large and they fit perfectly. They hit a couple inches below the knee, just as I hoped. There is no lace on the bottom, but I could see that from the posted picture. They wash and wear great and have become a staple of her wardrobe.
