Initially I was concerned it would taste bad based on blog and Amazon reviews. But coming from someone who hasn't tried many protein powders, it actually tastes good. It reminds me of a Starbucks green tea latte, with an aftertaste of stevia sweetener (and I totally understand why that might be off-putting to some). I'm neither a fan nor a hater of the stevia aftertaste. It's very artificially sweet, but it actually tastes good, less vanilla, more like a yellow cake. However, the texture is well described in the reviews, it's quite chalky and doesn't mix well with any e-liquid I've tried before. 2% milk, whole milk, soy milk, almond milk - they all leave big dusty clumps even if you use a blender or puree a little. One thing to ignore are the reviewers citing the clean label project. There is neither lead nor arsenic in significant quantities. I took some samples to my campus lab and had my chemistry professor review them, and she had no reason to believe the claims were true. If you google the clean label project you will also find articles from Forbes stating that they do not disclose how and what methods they used what they found and have basically zero transparency for a company that claims to be transparent. . It's not even clear if they're independent or corporate-funded. In short, ignore those scaring with this suspicious company.
