Great for Martin garage doors

There are many good reviews already. I am only adding my personal experience and some necessary installation information as I could not find the information myself. In short, it works fantastic! I have a Martin garage door. At least that's what the name on the remote control says. The actual opener is empty. But it still worked. The lights didn't blink on the first and second programming attempts, but I felt like it was my fault. I tried again and it worked the third time. To be honest, the remote control is a bit finicky to press. But once programmed, it worked without any problems. Actually, I'm not a craftsman. But lately I've been trying to do more. So you know I'm not approaching this like a pro. But the installation at home right in front of the garage door also went well and fairly smoothly for me. My only question was: what size drill bit is needed to drill the holes for the included anchors? They provided size bits for the screws themselves but not for the anchors. I attach the opener to the cast so dowels are needed. Well I found out. Required drill size 13/64. A tip for mounting on plaster, at least at my house, which is quite uneven: first drill a hole with a center punch or something similar. Then drill first with a smaller drill. I started with 1/8 bit. Then he worked until 32.5. This was enough to use 13/64 and drive in the anchors. If you go straight to 13/64, the drill itself will wiggle with a flute and the hole will be out. After the last stretch, the anchors hammered in well and everything was set as it says in the instructions. The opener is now firmly attached to the garage wall. And at a very good price. I can't ask for more. I will update if reliability or quality becomes an issue.
