I needed something to keep my hands dry while playing racquetball. I have a lot of candy and gloves don't help. This product helps, but not as much as I expected. I reapply every 15-20 minutes. The smell is ok, it's a fine powder, but the packaging isn't very good. If you plan to keep it in your gym bag, there will be a mess. When you remove the tape from the top, you must always keep it vertical, otherwise it will be scattered everywhere. It's like a salt shaker that doesn't have a lid on top. Instead, I used an empty snap-top spice bottle and the problem was solved.
