My 8 year old daughter asked for one of these barbie styling heads so she could practice her hair. After evaluating them and realizing they were overpriced for so little hair, my wife suggested we look at the actual styling tools used in beauty schools. I was shopping and found this one. It was definitely a popular Christmas present! The hair is the perfect length and the clip holds up very well on our kitchen counter. The comb that came with the kit was a little large for comfortable holding, but it didn't get in the way. For styling she uses her own comb and hair accessories. All the little girls around want to play with him. So far I haven't noticed any breakouts. If you have someone in your house who loves to play with their hair, then this is for you! Update 11/11/21: So we are approaching a year of use. clamp broken. I glued it on and it broke again so we had to replace it. It's a confusing mess. She doesn't handle it roughly and tries to keep it combed but nothing helps. Hair is everywhere! Luckily it wasn't expensive and lasted almost a year and now it's just a room decoration.
