Recommended for piano technicians

As a piano tuner, I bought this vacuum cleaner to clean pianos, which can collect dirt and dust in nooks and crannies. It's popular with piano professionals because you can use a fume hood to blow dirt and dust out of the piano mechanism (the removable "guts" of the piano) that really can't be vacuumed directly. It is powerful, small and light. It also comes with an equally wide range of tools for hitting the right spots. It can be packed into a small suitcase and thrown in the trunk - I bought a plastic Dewalt tool box from Home Depot for about $20. Why 4 stars? Just two details, one essential. First, it's a design I don't quite understand: the handle seems to be on the wrong end for balance. This is normal when using the blower, but it had to be reversed for vacuuming. Also, you'd expect the power button to be next to your index finger when holding it by the grip, but that's not the case - it's on the 'wrong' side. I don't know why they decided to install it there. The position of the crank/power switch is a small issue, but there's a potentially bigger issue, especially for piano technicians in a client's house: exhaust performance. Of course, a powerful vacuum cleaner also includes powerful suction - that's the other side of the coin. But you have to be very, very careful where this thing is pointing or you could damage the chandelier, blow out the lamp, or just spill newspapers or magazines all over the place. But there are two possible solutions the company could implement: 1. Offer a power switch with a "low" setting, or 2. Turn on some kind of exhaust diffuser. This reduces performance somewhat, but in many situations you don't need full performance. I'll probably make a removable diffuser myself. Otherwise a good product.
