Review on Nokian Tires Hakkapeliitta 9 205/55 R16 94T winter by Wiktor Wasilewski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

One of the best deals, glad I bought this.

For two years I saved up for this rubber, then I still waited for a discount and bought it. Very satisfied. I did not think that in the winter you can ride like in the summer.

Pros
  • 1. Durable sidewall, well swallows bumps and riding on pits and their sharp edges, 2. soft on bumps; 3. Coupling with a slippery road. On ice as on asphalt. Riding as if in the summer at speeds up to 100 km / h. Large contact area, in fact, because of this advantage, its disadvantages (points 1 and 2, see below) 4. High skid resistance on slippery roads. 5. Resistance to lateral loads, with sharp turns at high speeds. 6. Strong spikes, keep even when slipping on the pavement. 7. High braking performance on slippery surfaces. 8. The machine does not slip sideways when driving on slippery slopes if all 4 wheels are on a more or less level surface. 9. High passability on slippery and snowy roads, at -3C and below. On a high snow rut, even on a low car. 10. Riding uphill and downhill, acceleration, braking, cornering, everything is just fine. No complaints. At speeds up to 80 km / h - as if you are going in the summer 11. No lateral slip but only while stopped 12. The noise from the rubber is deflected to the side, and is reflected from the walls and cars, and if you drive in an open area, it is quite quiet. 13. Lifetime warranty
Cons
  • 1. Noise when driving in tunnels or along walls. 2. A sharp loss of speed when entering a puddle. But this cannot be called a disadvantage, since the consequence is the absence of longitudinal grooves, and, accordingly, a higher contact area 3. Snow porridge in large volumes is poorly rowed at + 1C and above. 4. In case of poor contact on an uneven and very slippery ground-in ice road, slipping to the side is observed while moving. 5. High cost. 6. Studs require careful operation, they fly out when slipping and taxiing in place

Its pros: Soft, moderately noisy. Manageability is top notch. Some cons: If only the price. Lost one spike during the season.
