Review on Aunt Marthas 28 Inch Towels Premium by Cara Ruiz

This has been recommended by Wirecutter as the best kitchen towel for flour bags. I looked here at Revain, saw a 4 1/2 star rating with over 1500 reviews and bought without hesitation. I washed and tried them out as soon as they arrived. Very poor absorbency. Undaunted, I read the reviews and saw the vinegar hack and tried washing with vinegar. Unfortunately not much has changed. Absorption was still very poor. For example, I would have to wipe the kitchen towel 10 times in the same spot across the counter for the water droplets to soak up, instead of just smearing back and forth! Since I washed them twice I can't return them. more. My husband was so disgusted he threw them away. 🙁 I should have read the reviews beforehand and noted that the 5 star ratings are mostly written by people who used them for embroidery and not for drying dishes or surfaces. Such a disappointment.
