Review on 🐠 Tetra Curved-Front Tank: Experience Tranquility with LED Crescent Aquarium Kit by Monica Satchell

It fits perfectly in the corner on my kitchen worktop. I like his looks. There were no problems with cracks or leaks. I made a few modifications which I will describe below. No heater or thermometer was included. I would like to mention that I bought a thermometer sticker and an acrylic molded suction cup. So be careful with suction cups on acrylic. Currently I just let the thermometer hover. The LED light wasn't enough to keep the plants growing even in the low light, so I bought an extra LED submersible light that sticks to the bottom of the lid. (By the way, the lid is awkward to put on and take off, but it does the job.) The benefit of the new LED light is that I now also have blue night lights that weren't on the tank's original light bar. I use both lights and can now grow plants in low light. The filter that came with it had no biocapacity at all, so I replaced it with a Tetra Whisper In Tank Filter with Bio-Scrubber. It's not perfect because it's not the same size as the old filter. I need to lower the water level in the tank and put it under the filter hole in the lid. But it increased the number of fish in the aquarium. It's cute for a table or counter. I only glued a black backing to the back so that the filter doesn't stand out too much. Visibility is good due to the curved side walls. However, the inside is easy to scratch as it is acrylic and not glass. I do weekly water changes because I have a lot of fish. I only vacuum one side of the gravel floor with a gallon and a half water change every two weeks. I'll be replacing a gallon of water next week without breaking the bottom. I have 6 neon tetras and armored catfish and they handled the procedure well from the start. Compared to my other 5 gallon tabletop tank, the Fluval Spec V, this tank has its pros and cons. questions, and both are fine in my opinion.
