Terribly faded after a wash.

I bought the gray king size and followed the manufacturer's washing instructions. I couldn't believe how the gray hairs disappeared! It changed from anthracite gray to a pastel blue gray. Not at all what I was looking for. I should also note that the photos show two pillows with vertical stripes, however mine arrived with horizontal stripes. Because they are not sewn evenly, when two pillows are placed side by side, the stripe pattern is confused and not pretty to look at. I contacted the manufacturer and they were very easy to work with, but obviously there is no cure for cheap dyes that fade so dramatically after a wash.
