Bought because we pay for 200Mbps with Comcast so upgraded the modem and then found we needed a power adapter for AC speeds. This little key has made our network incredibly fast! Down from 59 Mbps to a whopping 169! Important Notes: Make sure you have a USB 3.0 port (it's blue). This works with USB 2.0 but is no improvement over our current N adapter. If you're using Windows 10, don't waste time with the drive. Instead, go to the website and download the latest driver. Follow the instructions: After downloading and unzipping, go to the device driver and "update". It should automatically find the correct driver; Then restart your computer. Get ready to be impressed! One more note: when I first rebooted my computer's security system, a scanning process began making the internet painfully slow. Once the scan was complete, the speed was there.
