Review on Shield 1000009 No Bounce Hockey Hotballs by Louis Asok

Hotball = Ball of Anger

So this review is not meant to reflect negatively on the manufacturer who sure are great people but I have no idea what the ball is meant to be used for. Certainly not for hot weather, as the name suggests. It's actually the softest ball I've ever had. Consider playing with a stress ball in the hot summer sun. Personally, I wanted this cycling polo ball, which I think is looking for what street hockey is looking for, which is a ball that can stay tough on a sunburned pitch. This ball is not like that at all. Look to Mylec or Franklin (albeit very heavy ones) if you need a hard, hot weather ball. The only thing this "hot ball" is good for is a quick temper.

Pros
  • Sturdy vinyl construction withstands harsh environments
Cons
  • Not the best
