Review on πŸ“· Fotodiox Pro Black Camera Hand Grip for Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II Mirrorless Micro Four-Thirds Digital Camera with Battery Access - All Metal by Jeff Sorensen

Yes and no, please read!

When it arrived I was thrilled. All-metal powder-coated metal with a beautiful wooden handle. This gives the em10 mark iii more grip. Not that the camera needed it, but the extra grip made me feel more secure. Then came the problem. After using it for about an hour, my palm started to hurt. After examining it, I noticed that there is a sharp point where the handle fits in your palm. Ouch!. When I looked at the camera, Olympus round the corner of the camera, good technique! There is no one on the handle. Fotodiox missed it. I thought maybe that was the only one I got. I called Fotodiox, told them about the problem, they sent me a replacement. Unfortunately it was the same. I really liked the pen but it hurts to hold it. What to do? I took it to my shop and used a file to round off the sharp corner until it felt comfortable in my hand. A small black touch up and I now have a very comfortable Mark III grip. I hope Fotodiox reads this review and makes changes to the grip, if so that's 5 stars.
