Beware of smudging

I've made Christmas cards with this. It printed well, looked nice, but once they got into the envelopes everything was smudged. I used a laser printer and don't think the toner can stick to the paper. It would be great if you didn't put things in envelopes or touch them (desk cards or something?), but not for mail.
