The dress is declared as cream-colored, but it is actually snow-white. That's fine because it can be used as a flower girl dress and any shade will do. I ordered a size 8 for my 9 year old granddaughter and it fits perfectly. It has 5 small buttons and a zipper on the back. One of the buttons fell off right away, but it's okay --- I'm sewing. The buttonholes are stretchy and almost too small - it takes time and some skill to thread them through the tiny loops. Thank goodness my granddaughter loved the dress and was willing to be patient while I buttoned it up. I don't like the fabric belt that comes with the dress - it looks better without it so I cut off the belt loops and threw the belt in the trash. If we decide on a belt, I'll buy a satin ribbon, which looks and flows better. We absolutely love this dress and would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the tiny buttonholes, the button that falls right out of the box, the dress is described as being off white rather than pure white, and the ill fitting fabric for the waistband. .
