The dress is declared as cream-colored, but it is actually snow-white. That's fine because it can be used as a flower girl dress and any shade will do. I ordered a size 8 for my 9 year old granddaughter and it fits perfectly. It has 5 small buttons and a zipper on the back. One of the buttons fell off right away, but it's okay --- I'm sewing.
