Review on Dorman 932 201 Driveshaft Joint Kit by Craig Shah

Fits 2000 Mercury Mountaineer V8 with automatic transmission. There was an unfamiliar noise coming from under the car somewhere near the gearbox from time to time (it sounded like a hammer hitting a metal pipe when the car was moving forward). I didn't do it all the time but when I did it was scary (whole car shut down). I dragged it to the garage and started banging on various objects (hand/fist) to reproduce the sound. When I hit the driveshaft I heard it (faintly). There was SMALL play in the driveshaft joint. Buy this kit, replace the old one and the old problem is solved. Has been running for over a year now with no problems. Good buy.
