Well, I've never sewn anything. With this set I fixed my favorite pair of wool socks. Darker colors look much neater than lighter ones. Haven't worn them yet to tell if the stitching irritates my toes and haven't washed them to see if they hold up. It's easy to work with him. I think I have a Kinkade needlepoint that inspired my quest. The scissors are very small, but not as small as the bandage scissors. A wooden darning tool that looks like a mushroom, small but fits in my hand without cramping it. The thread looks like distinct stains on the socks, but you can see that there was a hole in the sock before. OK.
