It's time to swap out the trays. Didn't find much info on this box but I like the idea of a slide out cleaning tray. boy was i wrong! This is the first time I've had to fully assemble the tray. Strangely, the instructions are in Chinese! There is no English version. It comes with screws, a screwdriver and 7 plastic parts to connect. 2 sides are deformed, so the fit is not tight at the back and front. I hope nothing escapes to make a mess outside the box. As you attach one side, the other side will fall apart. You really need to focus and adjust each part a few times before you get it right. The screws are not the best quality and break very easily so be careful. If you don't screw the piece in properly, it can upset the alignment of the other pieces, which should fit snugly into the base. There is a bracket on the underside of the swing door. This allows the door to open when the cat comes in, but the clip will prevent the door to open to the exit. The cats should jump out through the top hole. I have not attached. Once the top is assembled, slide the tray in. There are no rails for the tray so it stands on the floor. You need to put the box on a rug or something similar to avoid scratching the floor by sliding the tray in and out. Wow! It was interesting. I need another box and it will not be the same! I would return it but I threw away the old one. The two piece tray and latch on top are looking pretty good now!
