Easy plug and play upgrade

So I wanted to upgrade the head unit on a 2018 Civic Hatch Sport model. Definitely worth it. Installing the device itself took about an hour from start to finish without using the instructions. Carefully removing the trim and finding a way to reattach it was literally the only frustrating part because you don't want to break the clips in the process. After removing my original unit, I simply adapted the adapters to the stock wiring harnesses and fitted them to the new head unit. Easy enough, I routed my GPS cable and Apple car mic under the dash and tucked the wires in by pulling back slightly, it was easy enough. After playing around with the settings I found that the device was trying to show the Honda Lane Watch camera which I didn't originally have when I pressed the right turn signal causing the screen to go black and my game with the Apple Auto Interrupted, which is both Bluetooth and wired compatible. In Bluetooth, if the right turn signal was on for too long, the Bluetooth Car Play would disconnect and have trouble reconnecting, but I knew there was a way to turn it off in the factory settings. After a quick email to the seller regarding the password, they responded to me very quickly and I was able to resolve the issue and now have no complaints. It's definitely worth updating the basic head unit that came to the Sport. If you're looking to upgrade, be sure to check this out, especially if the original head unit was non-touchscreen.
