I printed out the size chart with my foot and measured my 20 month old's foot and his big toe was just a size 24 so I argued in between ordered 23 or 24 and finally decided on size 24. They are a little big but didn't stumble but I decided to return them a size down. My little one wears 7W in Stride-Rite shoes for reference and the pedal shoes were too wide for his feet. The shoes were so light and very flexible that they were perfect for confident hikers who still occasionally stumble on rough terrain. The quality of the shoes seemed great just a little big!
