For $9 I expected it to be ready to use. The first cup of tea was hot porridge made from leaves. It is VERY DIFFICULT to rotate and securely latch the lid. My friend fiddled with it, adjusting the tiny pieces of metal that rotate to latch the lid. You have to be SUPER careful and make sure the lid is actually latched. I have upgraded this rating from 3-4 stars. After a few months it is now working reliably and accident-free. Includes a small teaspoon. I use 4 scoops per 10 ounce cup of black tea.
