It is really beautiful. The satin doesn't go all the way through. Apparently, this is necessary so that the cap does not slip at night. Don't fold it. Lesson learned. And you can't tighten it, so yes. I'm glad it's not too tight and the band is wide so it doesn't put too much pressure on your forehead and you don't have that infamous line. Caution: do not sleep in it in warm weather. You pass out in your sleep. Another lesson learned. All in all a good cap. It's strong enough to wear out and about the same.
