Not so BEAUTIFUL! - Garbage bags

I bought it back in August but just opened the box. The first 4 bags I pulled out were ripped on both sides, the 5th was intact until I put the trash in and both sides were ripped to the bottom as were the next 5 bags! So now I've lost 10 bags and the 11th bag is still holding up but I'm afraid to take it out of the bin, I don't want to pick up another pile of rubbish. I hope the further I get in the pits the better, but I don't have high hopes.
