Thermostat failed after 100 days of use

Looks like this unit went out of warranty last night. Window. The thermostat kept giving a false high of about 8 degrees, but I checked this with a secondary. Today the alarm continues to go off and reports more than 30 degrees Celsius. The actual temperature of the tank is 74 as it has stopped heating. Not a good buy. 😕
