Review on 🔧 NICOR Lighting DLR56 Mounting Clip for 3008 and 3012 Models by Luca Washington

These are just stamped and formed sheet metal clips that cost pennies to make and yet I have to say the $7.19 I paid for them was well worth it. In one of my bathrooms I had an oddly shaped recessed light. I couldn't get any of the three methods that Halo gave me with their LED retrofit kit to work. The best I could do was hang them 1/4 inch below the ceiling using the spring attachment method. It looked awful and it would hurt me if I ever had to take it off (like painting that blanket). Enter these brackets. . They slid right over the light's metal rim with a good detent to hold it (and potentially give a decent ground return). And then the comfortable torsion springs went straight in. My modified LEDs fit snugly into these clips and fit snugly into the ceiling. The product was perfect in every way. Except for the price. Glad I only needed one set!
