I'm still learning how to use them PERFECTLY to get the perfect beachy waves my fine straight hair is looking for but there's a bit of a learning curve and I'm still at it. Practice makes perfect because the only curlers I'm (or was) used to are rubber bud heated rollers, traditional heated rollers, or those tiny, flimsy foam rollers from the '90s, and they're a lot thicker and just plain gross different. I wasn't the best at any of them, but I got better over time. Same situation with them, but they REALLY roll up. About sleep. Can you sleep comfortably through the night? Hmm 🤔. All different. Light sleepers might have a little more trouble, but they shouldn't hurt you or even pull your hair out. I have no experience of this happening to them at night. For some, actually falling asleep may be more of a problem than sleeping through the night. Again, everything takes some getting used to, but when I'm tired enough I don't even notice it. Plus again, even if you do, it's soft and you get used to it. The materials used to make this curling iron are very soft and safe to wear. You should be fine. Most will. It prevents heat damage to hair, which is a big seller for me. For most of us. Didn't all of our mothers and/or grandmothers put their hair up in a thousand hard plastic curlers every night? With this curler is not everything! And they are 100% mulberry silk, just like my pillowcase. The material seems identical but I feel like my head sometimes slips off the edge of my pillow as it's silk on silk 😆. I think the price is fair for this heartless curling iron, bonus curler, silk scrunchie. . When I have really good packaging and a really great result I will come back to add photos but for now I think this is definitely something that most beauty gurus or the average intrigued woman would want to try and worth trying . For now I give 4 stars! This is a reliable quality product at a reasonable price. What else can I say? I hope my review was helpful :).
