I use the 100 watt version of this heater in a 15 gallon tank. It took some time to calibrate it properly during the initial setup. Once this is done it is reliable and keeps the water temperature about half a degree off the desired temperature. The display is bright and easy to read. This heater is built to last and I love that it's fully submersible. I use it along with a traditional wand on a thermometer strip for added security. With two strong holding suction cups, you can place it anywhere. The instructions are clear and easy to read. A sensor placed directly in the water gives the impression that I get a more accurate temperature measurement in my aquarium. Overall very happy, great price!
