Review on DUTUT by Michael Murphy

As a product manager, I was let down by the standard of DUTUT's web store's offerings. Their assortment of women's apparel, footwear, and jewelry is extensive, but the quality of their offerings is disappointing. Some of the garments appear to be poorly manufactured because of the thin, cheap fabric and erratic stitching. Some of the items I ordered were missing buttons or thread, suggesting poor quality control. The limited size range was another major letdown for me. Although DUTUT provides consumers with a variety of sizes to choose from, the accuracy of the sizing charts can be hit or miss. There has been a surge in returns and customer complaints as a direct consequence of this. The shopping cart is easy to use, but the delivery costs are high compared to similar sites. Long delays in processing returns for credit or a swap add insult to injury. While DUTUT's prices are low in general, the quality of their goods is lacking. If I were the product manager at DUTUT, I would push for stricter quality assurance measures and more precise sizing guides.
