The only small issue I have with the product is that the pictures seemed to indicate that the magnet and steel were quite thin but the actual magnet was a diameter of about half an inch. . I used to use very thin velcro straps and tried to replace them with this product but that plan fell apart when I saw this detail. The steel plate to which the magnet is attached is very thin, maybe one-sixteenth thick. So it affects how and where you can install it. But it's okay if you do something. I'm happy with my purchase and still left a five star rating. Please note that based on one of the questions I was concerned that it would take a lot of force to open this cabinet, but actually it wasn't that strong. Of course I had to tilt the magnet to keep it from reaching its maximum magnetic strength, but to be honest it doesn't seem unusually strong for a magnet. Works great and I've only used one of the magnetic clasps so far. thank you i love it
