This is a roomy shoe made from knit material with a reinforced heel for extra support. When I took them out of the bag, it smelled like a shoe store, but not too much. I ordered my usual size 9 and it seems a bit big. The last size 9 I ordered was too small and it was a well known brand. The tag on the sneakers only says 41 which is the European size. They were packaged in a cloth bag with a label that also says 41 and was made in China. There is no additional information on the tag inside the shoe, and there is a tag on the tongue that says "Running". They are wide at the top but my feet didn't slip into the heels. Reminds me of men's shoes. The insoles are flat and tie better than round laces. I noticed the shoes were getting stiff under my toes so I took out the insole to inspect and photograph. It's ribbed but thin under your fingers. Its shape offers little arch support. There are also small holes on the insoles which you can see in the photo. I can wear them with better insoles. The bottom of the shoe looks like textured plastic. It bends forward. The upper is made of a fairly durable fabric, probably nylon for outdoor activities. These are not what I would call running shoes. They look good as casual shoes but don't look expensive.
