I've been trying to find slightly stronger cleaning pads that will actually clean our hard kitchen floor tiles. I was disappointed and looked for more texture and assistance with Bissle Floor Cleaner for Tile and Wood which had some 'cleaning power'. No luck so far. The ones that came with the Bissle electric vacuum were too soft for my "stone" kitchen floor. They also don't need anything TOO scratchy on our hardwoods, so better on hardwoods BUT they will leave swirl marks on laminate "wood" floors even with less cleaning fluid than recommended. This is also an addendum to my original review of the Bissell Electric Floor Cleaner. I've found that this Bissell floor cleaner leaves swirl marks and I'm hoping to find a way to get the floor cleaner and POSSIBLY the exact type of cleaning fluid because if I follow Bissell's directions for their OWN cleaners I'm getting this annoying whirlwinds. Brands, and what should be a quick and easy way to clean your floors, and it's not. Any good suggestion is welcome so I don't have to keep removing swirl marks. If you have NOT lived on floors with grandchildren or floors with a lot of stains, this is good for newer, clean floors that just need a light surface cleaning. Definitely NOT suitable for a busy family with pets and small children.
