1/2 inch wide finger splint with Secure HEX lining works well for me overall. put the large loop on my third finger and then wrapped the strap over the top of my fourth finger, back under both fingers and then tightened it as tight as I wanted and secured the velcro on top. I've occasionally had a little irritation from the stitching where the Velcro connects to the strap after using a buddy splint for a week or more.
