Above all; This is a great product once you set it up. I have a projector in my truck trailer that I'm planning to convert into a tiny house and this dimmer really sets the tone for a good movie/view night. However, the setup is more complicated than it should be. The sockets into which different wires are plugged are very close together and must be inserted correctly and tightened with the necessary force. If you miss the target, you are either a. You can't turn the light on or off or leave the broken wires open. This happened to me on my first install, but I touched the positive/negative wire and toasted the dimmer function; I could turn the light on and off, but I couldn't dim it at all. I threw this one away and bought another one. This time I was VERY careful and managed to install and set up the dimmer correctly. And like I said, it was a great product. It looks good too, and the remote control is a really nice touch, allowing me to put the main switch where I want it and still be able to dim the lights and turn them on and off from bed. However, I did. Lots of electrical work in my tiny house, I know from experience that if better materials were used, the installation wouldn't be as tedious and in my case expensive. I still recommend this product, but buyers should beware of the complexity of the installation
