I used the guts from my old key fob and transplanted them into this case. The key costs $27, but it's still a lot better than going to a car dealership and spending over $150. The company I used to make this key offers shell, remote control, cutting, and programming services for $90, so I'm still very good at this deal. You don't have to replace your key entirely if you can reseat the electronics. If your existing key fob is falling apart, this is definitely the route I would take to fix it. If you need a brand new key, you can easily find a locksmith who can cut and program the key. This shell won't help you much.
