Review on 🔧 Toyota/Lexus Oil Filter Wrench Set: Assenmacher Specialty Tools Toy 300 by Adam Krueger

So far this tool set has been really good. This is the only cap that will not slip off during use with Toyota filter caps, unlike the usual thin steel caps used in these oil filter kits. The steel ones flex and slide over the filter cover. However, I found a small flaw in this particular tool. When I work with older Prius or Corolla they have plastic filter caps instead of the new aluminum caps. And this tool set will sometimes slip if handled carelessly. The reason is that plastic caps actually have these contact points, as they call them, or fins if you will. There is another brand that makes a similar tool to Assenmacher but with grooves that slide at the contact points, making it impossible for the tool not to slide at all no matter what. This brand name is Private Brand Tools (PBT71115) Toyota/Lexus 3-Piece Oil Filter Wrench Set. Check it out and you will understand what I mean. This will be my next purchase. But for now this tool was really good.
