Review on πŸ”Œ CRST 12-Outlet Heavy-Duty Power Strip - UL Listed for Kitchen, Office, School - 15 Amps, 15-Foot Power Cord by Shawn Tolbert

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Well made and very compact power strip with 12 sockets.

I was looking for at least 9 outlets under 2 feet so this was a good choice with 12 outlets in such a small space. This is well achieved through the use of a profile that cleverly supports the mounting brackets in a channel on the back of the strip. Two types of brackets are available so brackets can be used at either end of the strip or in the middle for a flush mount. The screws provided are not of the highest quality, so be sure to drill a large pilot hole. I attached the strip to the underside of the workbench and it was easy to do and very strong. Built-in power switch, but no surge protection. I'm very happy with the strip as it does exactly what I want it to do. However, I have to point out that the plugs are very close together due to the very compact design. This is normal with standard plugs, but devices such as chargers or low-voltage power adapters can block an adjacent outlet or two. The alternative would be to buy longer extensions, but that wouldn't work for me.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others
