I was so excited when I found these because I thought they were better and gentler on my hair than regular elastics. As soon as they arrived I used them by braiding my hair into mini braids for protection. After a few minutes I started noticing them breaking, falling apart and breaking. Everything I put on my hair fell apart. I sent the item back very quickly and was really unsure if I would get a replacement. The description itself said they were tear resistant and stronger than traditional rubber bands. looser.
