Need that for the university. It should have autofocused for IDs very close. If you need this camera for this purpose, look no further. it's so cool Focuses clearly and accurately, fast. I use it with an old Compaq laptop. I had to disable the system webcam before it worked for me. But other than that it was just plug and play. The microphone is not the best. So if you need high sound quality, you may need to connect it to another device. Thank you!
