Great for What It Is, Could Use Some Improvements

I really love the look of this wood. There are a lot of other wood foam pieces, but they don't look as good as these. However, I will say that I'm not a huge fan of the texture (i.e. it's not really smooth, but more like dusty rubber if that makes sense). These can also get quite hot easily so that can be a pro/con as well (right now it's summer so I don't really like sitting on it, but I would imagine it would be pretty nice in the winter).I would also add on that you should be careful if you spill liquid on these. The foam itself will be okay but it will go through the gaps and if you don't clean it right away it can lead to mold (I've heard of this happening to other people). If there's one thing I wish the company would do is make smaller/different shaped wood foams because often times there are these odd gaps left with these since it has to work around furniture, air conditioners, etc. It'd be nice to have more flexibility since it can look odd when a certain spot can't fit a square so it's left blank.Overall though, it's quite nice and serves its purpose well.

Pros
  • I used them on my 3 season porch. They look great and feel great on my feet.
Cons
  • Could potentially emit an odour when first installed
